How do I use my plug-ins?
General Usage
Once you’ve installed your plug-in, you need to open a photo and then start your plug-in. You will find your plug-in under one of your tool menus, For example:
- Elements Menu: Filter -> Scrapping Pro
- Paint Shop Pro Menu: Effects -> Plugins -> Scrapping Pro
Each plug-in has several pre-defined settings that are available simply by selecting from two drop-down boxes. If you are happy with the changes press Apply and you’re done. (Or press Cancel and no changes will be made.)
Because it is impossible for the pre-defined settings to cover every possible photo, you may also vary some settings using sliders (if you have the Gold version of our plug-ins). For best results, run the filter and play with the effects over and over until you are happy with the result.
Color Usage Guide
Your first selection is Temperature: Cool, Neutral or Warm. (If you have Silver or Gold, you also get Cool Touch and Warm Hint.) Then select your degree of Color Wow. If you are happy you can stop. If you have Gold, you can vary the contrast, lightness, saturation and / or warmth using the sliders. Then once you’re done, simply press Apply.
B&W Usage Guide
Your first selection is a Conversion: Light, Medium or Dark. (If you have Silver or Gold, you also get Medium Light and Medium Dark.) Then choose one of the named Tones (or tints). If you are happy you can stop. If you have Gold, you can vary the contrast, lightness and / or red, green or blue tint using the sliders to create your own tone. Then once you’re done, simply press Apply.
